New Era Chicago is a Pro Black community organization founded in April 2016. Our mission is to empower black residents in the city by encouraging them to take accountability and responsibility for the communities in which they live - to buy build and invest in those communities. The well being of the black community is the responsibility of the black community. It's our responsibility to fix ourselves. We must be intentional and deliberate about the repair and restoration of our minds and the engineering of our communities out of the chaos they're in and transforming them into safe productive spaces for our own benefit.
